Every kitchen needs a sink, an essential element for cleaning and food preparation. That is why at Gibeller we offer you a wide variety of sinks to suit your space and budget.

When choosing a sink you must take into account several aspects such as the space you have available, the material it is made of, the type and the design. Depending on these requirements, you can choose between built-in and undermount sink models.

When choosing a sink, you should take all your needs and preferences into account.  If you usually use large kitchen utensils, you can opt for a sink with a combination bowl. Or a double-bowl sink of the same size. This choice will depend on the space you have in your kitchen.

We can help you with your choice. We have the necessary experience to know which sink to choose depending on the style of your kitchen, your space and your preferences. You can take a look at our online catalogue and come to our shops to buy your sink.

Furthermore, depending on your choice you can also choose a kitchen faucet. You can even take a look at our kitchen furniture, kitchen appliances, extractor hoods or countertops to furnish your kitchen as a whole.

There aretwo types of sinks:

  • The “undermount”, is the most recommended for granite, stone or synthetic worktops. However, this type is not available for glass sinks;
  • The undermount sink, which is recommended for granite, stone or synthetic worktops.
  • The inset sink, ideal for wood and laminate worktops. They are available in stainless steel, glass and synthetic materials.

There are a variety of materials to choose from on the market. These products include stainless steel, glass, ceramic or silgranite, among others.

It is important to consider that the material influences scratch resistance, impact resistance and the retention of more or less limescale. Therefore, it is important to choose the right kitchen sink.

Stainless steel, whether polished or textured, is the material that offers the greatest resistance to impact and high temperatures. It is also very easy to clean and looks very elegant. However, it is vulnerable to scratches and limescale.

Glass has scratch resistance and medium tolerance to limescale. It is weaker to impacts, but is very hygienic due to its smooth surface.

Ceramic kitchen sinks have a hard and resistant surface. They are very resistant to scratches, cuts and knocks. However, if a heavy object falls on it, it can cause damage. It is a very hygienic material, prevents dirt from penetrating and it is enough to wipe the surface with a cloth to remove dirt particles.

Another very resistant material is silgranit, which is composed of 80% natural granite, which combines granite with an acrylic matrix, ceramic and chromatic pigments. It is highly resistant to heat, cuts, scratches and knocks. It is very easy to clean, you only need to use a scouring pad and a little water, and you can use conventional cleaning products without damaging the sink.

Gibeller offers you shops in Alicante, Valencia, Murcia and Denia, where in addition to seeing our display, you can receive the advice you need on which kitchen sink best suits your needs.

We offer you a wide range of modern sinks with the latest technology so that you can install your kitchen perfectly.
